Where the hell can I find what I’m craving, and will it actually be good?

This is something that goes through my head every day.

Planning Trips Around Food (So You Don’t Have To)

As a New Yorker who lived in London for nine years, I’m spoiled when it comes to the best food on earth. I can admit that. (And yes, those two cities have the best food - I’ll die on that hill).

However, through my insatiable love/need to travel, I found myself getting frustrated.

I’d land in a new city and want to support local, but couldn’t locate their menu or correct business hours online (tell me what you’re selling and when I can get it).

Or, I’d spend endless hours of research in an attempt to find authentic spots that keep things simple but do it consistently well.

Independent spots deserve the spotlight, and we deserve good food that has soul.

That’s what this map, and my food itineraries, are about. A collection of the best places to eat in cities I’ve been to and have vetted for you.

I wouldn’t suggest any spot that I wouldn’t repeatedly return to, or vouch for.

I love everything from holes in the wall that serve dishes bursting with flavor, to family run Michelin restaurants that have heart.

Have a browse, let me know if I’m missing anything, or if you want a custom food itinerary for your next destination.
